I am bringing this blog back to life this year. Losing weight has changed over the last few years. There is less emphasis on calorie counting, meals plans and other outdated weight loss systems.
Today, we are more focused on “Way Of Eating,” as a lifestyle than simply signing up for Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig and the rest of that group; and having someone coach you.
Up until 2018 I counted calories; always trying to burn more than I took in. Unfortunately, counting calories was never a sustainable way of eating. Now I don’t count anything. I kinda count, but to be honest, all I really do is eat as few carbs as possible.
What works for me is this. I try to eat a good amount of protein and fat each day without consuming more than 15 carbs. Additionally, I only eat within a 6 hour window from 2pm to 8pm. The hardest part is drinking water. Try to drink at least 32 ounces of water every day.
