Restarting ISAGENIX

I messed up, but back now!Oops! I didn’t start on Tuesday. I’m baaaack!

I had one shake on Tuesday. However, later that day I just didn’t feel like doing it. So I had a few cocktails and a Pork Chop dinner instead. No harm-no foul.

What ISAGENIX has done for me is to minimize the portions of food that I now eat. Instead of eating 2 large pork chops with a huge pile of rice and beans. I had one chop with a cup of cooked Basmati Rice and a half of a cup of black beans. Along with that we enjoyed some grilled asparagus. No bread, no salads with fatty dressings.

At the end of the day, it wasn’t a bad day, it just wasn’t a full ISAGENIX ISALean Shake day.

Let’s start today…

8:00 am update: ISAGENIX Ionix Supreme warm tea. Ageless Essentials AM Vitamins, ISAGENIX Natural Accelerator.

9:00 am update: Half of the ISALean shake. Use both frozen: 5 blue berries and 1/4 banana, with 1 scoop of ISALean chocolate with 1/4 cup of ice topped off to 8 ounces, with water in the measuring cup.

Approximately every 2 hours I am going to have half of an ISALean shake. Late morning and late afternoon I will also through an ISAGENIX Snack in when hungry. Finally, I will try to drink a glass of water every hour.

11:00 am update: Half of the ISALean shake. Use both frozen: 5 blue berries and 1/4 banana with 1 scoop of ISALean chocolate with 1/4 cup of ice topped off to 8 ounces, with water in the measuring cup.

12:00 noon update: ISAGENIX Snack – one vanilla wafer. I’ll have the other one between my next two shakes and the other two after my last shake; and before dinner.

Kathy likes the chocolate and I like the vanilla.

2:00 pm update: Half of the ISALean shake. Use both frozen: 6 peach slices and 1/4 banana with 1 scoop of ISALean vanilla with 1/4 cup of ice topped off to 8 ounces, with water in the measuring cup.

4:00 pm update: Half of the ISALean shake. Use both frozen: 6 peach slices and 1 scoop of ISALean vanilla with 1/4 cup of ice topped off to 8 ounces, with water in the measuring cup.

6:00 pm update: Had a few cocktails with Kathy

7:00 pm update: Reheated my pork chop from the other night with a side of Basmati rice and steamed asparagus.

Adding the Shake day totals from my previous post “Getting Started” and the two cocktails (64 calories each) before dinner, here are the final numbers.

Protein: 82  Calories: 1221 Fat: 34  Potassium: 1635  Sodium: 977  Anti-Inflammatory: 739 Carbs: 125

Using the following number for calories burned in one day we can finally see how “By The Numbers” works.

  1. Hi there, I am so glad I came upon your blog. I am on day 5, just completed 2 cleanse days. I am going to dinner on Saturday, which is a shake day for me, i plan on eating healthy but having a couple cocktails. Do you think I will be ok? I have not drank yet and Sat. is a special dinner and I know I will want a drink! Your blog is awesome. I am going to start one myself. Thank you!

    1. Jenny,

Alcohol has two effects. One is high sugar content, which is one reason why they say don’t drink it. Along with that is the possible mixers you use for making the cocktails, also high in sugar. That being said, the second issue with alcohol is that it makes you hungry. As far as I am concerned, as long as you are on a shake day, a few drinks can’t be that bad. To be safe, go with red wine. If you don’t like wine (like me) stick with stuff like vodka and soda.

All in moderation is the key.

      1. Thank you so much. I was thinking just a couple vodkas w/water and a lime. Again, I am so glad I came across your blog! I am going to start sprucing up my shakes now. I didn’t know I could do that!

      2. You’re supposed to have some fruit with your one meal during the shake day. Therefore, we just add a small amount of fruit to each shake instead. It all works out in the long run.

Jenny, thanks for following along. I will post what happens throughout my program. The good… as well as the bad.
