DAY 4

Finally not hungry, I feel at peace...

The Fourth Protocol. I finally feel at peace today.

It didn’t take long for me to fall asleep last night.  I finally closed my eyes around  10:00 pm.  Interestingly, I wasn’t feeling overly hungry at that point. Going to sleep was easy.

Hallelujah! I woke up this morning without that hungry feeling of a pit in my stomach. Although it was only 3:30 am again, it didn’t bother me much.  First thing I did was slam down a glass of water while I prepared a cup of coffee.

8:00 am update: This morning I decided to make my ISALean shake with 2 pine apple rings, 5 frozen cherries and 1 tbsp of Ginger (remember that ginger is a potent anti-inflammatory). I combined 1 scoop each of the vanilla and chocolate ISALean flavors.  Then proceeded to follow today’s Shake Day Plan.

10:00 am update:  Am I supposed to have a snack of some kind?  YUP! I had an ISADelight Plus chocolate snack.  Yummy!!!!

2:00 pm update: I had my second ISALean Shake of the day.  This time I just did blueberries and used the chocolate flavor.

6:00 pm update: Thinking about what to make for dinner is making me hungry, so I had 5 black walnuts as a snack.

Dinner: Made what I like to call Mock Singapore Rice Noodles.  The dish is very similar to the original. The biggest difference is I don’t use Rice Noodles. Instead I finely julienne cabbage leaves.  The rest of the dish has a lot of the same ingredients; but modified to have lower sodium and fat content. The recipe was originally created to serve 4-6.  I think we can safely say, “this recipe will serve 2 hungry people.”

There’s a bunch of prep work you have to do prior to serving.  Although in my opinion it’s worth the effort.
