DAY 2

Day 2 hurdles

The hurdles of waking up hungry on the second day.

Day two is off to a great start.  I woke up at 3:00 am, not starving; but definitely hungry. Made a cup of coffee and drank 2 glasses of water to kill my appetite.

Dinner last night was very filling. Even though I didn’t finish it all, it was extremely satisfying.  The only problem is that today all I can taste is the strong after affects of all that garlic I used.

I awoke a little on the hungry side. All I can think about, right now is, “WHEN IS DINNER?”

Kathy asked me if I wanted to go walking with her.  As much of a good idea that maybe.  I’m thinking a workout before dinner would likely be more effective.  If you work out in the morning, you probably won’t have enough energy.  I would also imagine afterwards we would come home starving.  Whereas, if you worked out before dinner, you’d have a way to satisfy your bodies need for calories.  That’s my opinion, or maybe that’s just an excuse?!?!

Shake: By the time it came to preparing the second shake of the day, I was definitely feeling the hunger (duh! I’m on a diet).  After downing it in less than 10 minutes, the hunger went away.  Good to go… until dinner.

Tip: It’s a good thing to drink water after the shake. I feel that it helped me feel that much more satisfied.  Even 2 hours after drinking the shake.

Finished off the night with a Dark Chocolate ISAGENIX snack.Very filling and the good thing is you’ll drink 2 full glasses of water with the meal.

Dinner: Tonight’s dish is a simple shrimp stir fry. Prep the shrimp and veggies. Heat up a WOK/Skillet and start cooking.
